Purpose
One system, not a pile of tabs.
Most of the work that eats an operator's day never shows up on a calendar: triaging what's new, filing what matters, clearing what doesn't. It lives across your tools, and today you are the integration between them.
HumAIn is the front door to a different way of working — treating your tools as one system that can be handed real tasks, starting with the place busywork piles up first: your inbox.
What HumAIn is
A concierge, not an autopilot.
HumAIn connects to a mailbox you own and runs the workflows you choose — unsubscribe cleanup, receipt filing, inbox triage, AI reply drafts. It acts only with your approval: workflows run when you start them, every inbox-changing action has a confirm step, and drafts are saved to your own mailbox for review — never sent for you.
Mail is read only to run the workflows you turned on, never in the background. Disconnecting in Settings asks HumAIn's server to delete its stored mailbox refresh token. For Gmail, the server also attempts to revoke the token at Google, but that provider step is best-effort; for Outlook, Microsoft does not provide a token-revocation endpoint for this flow, so deleting HumAIn's stored token is the disconnect. The app clears its local connection only after the server confirms token deletion; if server deletion fails, the app shows an error so you can retry. Mailbox tokens are encrypted at rest — sign-in happens at your mail provider, so we never see your password.

Email is where we start because repetitive work is easy to recognize there — but the goal is bigger. Over time, HumAIn is becoming the hub where an operator's work streams come together: connected, triaged, and acted on with the same approval-first rules the inbox gets today.
HumAIn is the product. The email workflows available today are its first proof: calm, approval-first implementation. The wider direction is one HumAIn environment for understanding, evaluating, and scaling AI adoption without pretending planned systems are already live.

Honesty is the feature.
A concierge you can't trust is just more noise. So the product is built on rules that are easy to state and hard to fake:
Server-authoritative truth
What's available, what's connected, what your plan includes — the app never decides on its own. It mirrors what the server reports and degrades honestly when unsure.
Approval-first, always
Only things that actually work are presented as working, and nothing acts on your mailbox without a confirm step. No silent automation, ever.
Computed, not marketed
Any time-saved figure you see is calculated from your own inputs — never an invented statistic. If we can't compute it, we don't show it.
